Kevin Murphy, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist and pioneer in advanced brain-based treatments. After founding UCSD’s Stereotactic Radiosurgery Program in 2005, he expanded his work into the emerging field of rTMS, developing PrTMS—a proprietary, personalized approach designed to target underlying brain dysfunction.
Dr. Murphy uses PrTMS to help individuals with neurocognitive and mental health conditions, including veterans and athletes seeking to maintain peak mental performance. He is also collaborating with the Department of Defense on clinical research evaluating its impact on sleep, focus, reaction time, and overall performance.
A recognized thought leader, Dr. Murphy speaks nationally and internationally to advance awareness of PrTMS and its potential to move beyond symptom management toward addressing root causes.
Dr. Murphy is a proud U.S. Navy veteran, having served as an engineering officer aboard the USS Ranger (CV-61) during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
